Weird Nights...

Found out a guy I see regularly hung himself in his house today...

I'm not quite sure why it's affecting me... perhaps I'm just tired of seeing people be sad... perhaps I just don't understand how people can hurt the people closest to them with irresponsible behavior... perhaps I'm just tired of death and dispair...

I thought a lot about the people I love tonight... and how far I'd got to keep them from hurting. Some time this week, I'm going to write The Nice Guy Manifesto to dispell some misconceptions about what it takes to "be there" for people...

Life really isn't as hard as it seems, sometimes.

Sure you do. He was another human being that decided that life was apparently too difficult for them. You're a human being and you don't want to see that despair in another. I'm glad you're around.
