Trying to Catch Up with my Pictures....
Mar. 19th, 2003 03:03 amSo I still haven't caught up with my pictures over the past month, but I figure watching Children of Dune should give me plenty of time to work on it.
Last month, I called my parents to ask them about mouse poison. See, I had noticed my dog hanging out in the back part of my house a lot, and once I coupled that with the scurrying I heard inside my bedroom wall, I figured I had a mouse. The truth became apparent when I saw the littel bugger running in the back of the hallway, behind my clothing racks. I was worried that if I poisoned them that they would die in inconvenient places and make my house smell even worse than it already does, but my parents insisted it would make any victim run for water somewhere outside the house. Needless to say, they were wrong.
I planted 4 boxes of poison in the house: three in the back hallway, and one under the house. While placing them, I saw hundreds of pieces of mouse poop, so I knew I was dealing with more than one. When I recovered the traps, the one under the house had been cleaned out of every morsel. I actually figured I had probably caught a racoon or a groundhog in my snare...
The smell started a week later. Light, but foul... A week later, I moved every piece of furniture that I could to try and find. It had become that bad. Finally, I crawled under the house and into the attic... Nothing... It was in the walls, and we just had to wait it out.
Anyway, while I was up in my attic, I took a few pictures. I'm absolutely convinced I have the scariest attic known to man. But I'll let you be the judge.

( This is the view you look after you first peek your head up inside... )
