Up and Attum, Tiger
Oct. 8th, 2006 01:02 pmUp at the buttcrack... but I still got a fairly good night of sleep.
We spread Wendy's Grandmother's ashes into the gulf yesterday. I warned everyone about the wind, but they didn't pay very good attention, and a few people got Lebowskied. Not in the face, but enough to give me the giggles. The day was beautiful, and some dolphins showed up shortly afterwards to send her off. Wendy and I sang, "So long and thanks for all the fish."
Last night was Capt Andersons (not our choice). Jesus, that place is huge. Wendy walked in and said, "Hostess nightmare! Hostess nightmare!" The food wasn't bad, and I'm still mentally adding up how much money gets dropped in that place every night. I feel like an amateur at the Chef's Table when I think about it.
Wendy and I were going to go to sleep early, but the Tennessee game got her and her dad too worked up. So instead, I just zonked out. I finished Shadow Puppets by Orson Scott Card but couldn't get up enough oomph to get into the next one. I think I'm ready to be done with the Enderverse.
Tonight is Epcot and the Food and Wine Festival. Tuesday is Universal Halloween Horror Nights. Wednesday is Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. I love Orlando in October.
I'll try and post again soon.
