Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes....

Busy, busy, busy...

Denny and Georgia are retiring, so they want to put the house up on the market. I'm very excited for them, because they deserve to have the fruits of their labors, but we weren't quite ready for a move. We've been scrambling to handle the change in plans, and I think we're doing pretty well. Originally, we were going to start working on Child #2, and the house we were in was plenty big till that time came. The money we saved by living here was going towards our debt and a 20% house down payment. And while we've done pretty good in getting over $6k saved and a sizable chunk off the debt, we're not anywhere near where we hoped to be for our next moving cycle. Thus is life, and we're lucky to have been given the chance to save at all.

Off to Ruth's Chris for some celebratory dinner (yes, yes, there's still things that can go wrong, but we'll come to those when we get to them). I also got a phone call today about a job opportunity.... and it might be really good.

By the way, I've been doing some consulting for House of Brews over the past couple of weeks to try and get their market model more streamlined. They are probably starting to do some tapas during dinner hours so that their bar guests can order some good finger food. Do any of you House of Brews customers think this idea will be a hit? I'd really like some input.
