Weird Nights...

Found out a guy I see regularly hung himself in his house today...

I'm not quite sure why it's affecting me... perhaps I'm just tired of seeing people be sad... perhaps I just don't understand how people can hurt the people closest to them with irresponsible behavior... perhaps I'm just tired of death and dispair...

I thought a lot about the people I love tonight... and how far I'd got to keep them from hurting. Some time this week, I'm going to write The Nice Guy Manifesto to dispell some misconceptions about what it takes to "be there" for people...

Life really isn't as hard as it seems, sometimes.

Weirdness in my life.

My dog has started humping my coat. Keep in mind that my dog has been fixed and she's female. She wants to dominate my jacket... it's really weird.

There's a mouse/rat in my house that's hiding in my back storage room. Abby has been snooping around back there lately, and I finally got a glimpse of the fuzzy rodent the other day. I think it's funny to taunt my dog with ideas of catching it.

My hair stands up way too high when I get up in the afternoonmorning.

The world keeps getting smaller... I keep running into people from my past and finding out how closely linked they are to my present. Sometimes it's fun not to live in a big town.

I'm #1 in my Fantasy Golf League... who woulda thought it?

I always think it's funny when people tell me I'm a "player"... I ask them who they know that I've slept with, and then they stammer. I really am amazed at what people will believe to make themselves feel better. Is it really so much easier to believe bad things about me?

I've been wearing the same bathrobe for over 11 years. I love it. It was a gift from the first girl I dated after moving back to Huntsville from Auburn.

XP has decided my Kazaa folder holds nothing but music, despite the obvious fact that there are pefectly good Adult Swim cartoons in there. This is a slight problem, as I now can't see what the latest downloads are since the "Music Folder" template doesn't include a Date Modified column. I would go in and simply change the template, but I'm actually looking at a shared folder over the network, and there isn't any local template settings. If I go onto THAT computer, I doesn't put it in the music format.

What kind of weirdness is this, Mr. Gates?
