Ouch

New dishwasher guy just dumped $140 dollars worth of crawfish bisque down the drain. It was cooling in an ice bath, and he thought it was a dirty pan.

SHOWER! Pretty heavy showers outside... but our PRESENT shower was yesterday...

Lawn and Garden down... two more to go!

Mostly we just stand on the front of the float and parade wave to the guests... "Hey! Thank you for coming! Hey! Thank you for coming! Hey! Thank you for coming!" But surprisingly, it was fun... not as much posturing and social pedantics as I expected. We ended up having a truly great time. We started drinking at 2... got home around 6 to start assembling our phat lewtz and drinking out of our new wine glasses... then joined Pammy at the KaffeeKrotch for more drinks.

We probably would have come out of it ok if we hadn't hit IHOP at 1 am with a ravenous gleam in our eyes. Waking up at six am with a hangover and a stomach full of bile is NOT a good shower present... blech...
