*snOOOORt.... accchhhheeewwww*
Sep. 25th, 2007 10:10 amSo in the middle of big move, I get hit head-first with a nasty, debilitating, phlegmy cold. Friday was a whirlwind, but Saturday was spent on the couch. In spite of the plague, we've been working hard on new spaces and old to get everything into shape. I think we've done pretty well.
Duncan is a snotty mess. There's irony in the fact that his daycare is called the CDC. The poor fella gets snotty at night and can't breathe, so he wakes up and needs love. He's such a happy baby, and I can't see how he can laugh all day when he sleeps so intermittently at night.
The internet is getting hooked up tomorrow, so we've had no lifeline for five days, now. It's weird being disconnected like that, but my diet of movies has pulled in the slack. We so seldom actually watch movies anymore, and we've been kicking back and watching something each night together. It's been pretty cool.
The new house is so welcoming. We can't stop laughing about how much we love our new bathroom and can't wait till all these annoying boxes have been emptied into their homes. We're worried the pets and Duncan aren't quite warming up to it yet. Familiar objects and sights have certainly helped, though.
Oh well, Chef's Table needs its manager again.. back to work...
