In case you don't read the Huntsville community, Fred Phelps of Westboro Baptist Church... you know... the Godhatesfags.com people... they are going to be protesting at the funerals of the people killed in the bus tragedy this week.

I'd really like to know where they get their money for traveling to all these places...they seem to have and afford a lot for a "church" that's basically Fred and his extended family...

All the church members' money is pooled collectively. They all live in a 10 house compound. The restof their funds are from lawsuits against people they goad into assaulting them or violating their civil rights.

These types are what kept me away from saying anything nice about organized religion for a long time. It took a casual visit to my old church to remember that there are good people taking life small and healthy. These people on crusades drive me nuts.

because these folk are de facto professional funeral protestors...somewhere or another they're making $$$ out of this, but not sure how...they have to be getting $$$ someplace to afford going all over the country(and overseas) protesting funerals...

I said something to Chuck about it & he said that he thought they couldn't picket funerals any longer. I don't know where he heard that though.

Why don't they get the biker gang (that has been going to the military funerals) to protect the funeral/families?

these people make it REALLY hard for me to believe that God loves everyone.

If it were my child's funeral, I would sue them for all they have for daring to profit off of my grief. Emotional damages and whatever else my team of lawyers can dream up.
