awwww, that was awesome! also awesome to know other people are geek and sundry fans - I love that stores are selling out of the games featured on tabletop. my childhood had a lot of board games in it, it's nice to find them again as an adult.

hahahahah love it! and yeah.. man, i have been dying to teach the kids games and the patience for things as simple following directions... hair pull for mommy :D but they are learning and theyw atch us play and are DYING to play the 'big' games with us and the older boys, so we try a little bit by little bit.
having things like carcasson and ticket to ride on the ipad really helps too, they learn more of the idea of the game that way without making a massive mess :D

I am sure you know, but did you see catan came out with a kid's catan like last month or so??? I haven't bought it yet, but going to once our game store opens back up (they are in process of collaborating with our local comic store. YAY!)
