Every person I knew that had oct 31 for a birthday absolutely loved it. Whereas the one boy I knew that had his birthday on valentines day was miserable in grade school.

That's really weird. A halloween birthday is a double chance for something fun to happen - birthday and candy/costumes. A valentine's birthday is a double chance for it to be depressing - no one cares about your birthday AND you aren't in a relationship. What a weird choice.

Well, who wants to miss all the Halloween parties to be in a maternity ward? Valentine's parties are rarely as good :-)
